When I got the call for Brooklyn’s session, I was a little unsure of how everything would go. Brooklyn was already a month old but her momma still really wanted to try and capture some newborn images. I agreed but I always warn those who contact me late that there’s always a chance the images won’t look just like the standard newborn images because after a couple weeks, newborns want to stretch out and stay awake for much longer than they do those first few weeks of life. Either way, I know we can capture some wonderful images to treasure so we decide to set up her session. Although Miss Brooklyn started out the session wide awake, by the middle of the session she was sleeping soundly and I just went for it with as many props as I could use. Amazingly enough, she stayed asleep and even let me curl her little legs up like she was only a few days old. I love when everything works out like that 🙂
