Baby Kate & Baby Ellie – Bel Air, MD {Harford County Newborn Photographer}

When I first got the call for these two twins girls, I immediately found myself in the craft store starting to think of cute ideas for matching holiday headbands… matching lacey wraps… matching knitted bonnets… and every other acccessory I could think of in pairs of two. I can’t tell you how much I just love looking for new items to add to my newborn props and anytime I can find a reason to buy more, I do 🙂

These two girls were so tiny and looked IDENTICAL! Mom and I had a discussion about the best way to make sure we didn’t mix them up during the session (yes, they looked that much alike). We decided to try to always keep Kate on the left to keep things a bit easier and it worked well. The most difficult thing about this session, and any session with multiples for that matter, is getting them to sleep together and wake together. Even though it’s nice to have one another to keep cozy, it’s worth nothing if one is wide awake. Once we got into a rhythm, the session went perfectly. I just love twins… double the cuteness!
