The ever so sweet Miss Tenley decided that she did not want to miss a single minute of her big photo shoot, so I had plenty of time to hold and snuggle with her while her mom and I just chatted away. It gave me some extra time to get her adorable older brother to warm up to me as well. He even let us take a few photos of him with his sister which can be an amazing opportunity when you’re dealing with a newborn and a two year old…

In those rare occasions where little ones decide they would rather spend their morning awake is not a huge problem. I try to remind parents not to stress.  I usually just wait it out because when you’re a week old, you’re going to sleep eventually during the shoot, and when you do, you’re out to the world. I know from experience that no matter what happens during our time together, your new angel will nod off eventually and they do, we will get amazing images to share… here is Tenley’s session.
