So I have to say, I’m turning 30 this year and although I know that’s not old, I feel like I just left high school. Where did the last 12 years go?! Nothing like feeling old around a group of beautiful senior girls… but that’s exactly how I felt for this session. At the same time, there is definitely a sense of calm knowing I won’t have to experience the emotional roller coaster of those high school years again. But, a certain part of me secretly enjoyed giggling and joking like I was a teenager again… even with the freezing temperatures, we all laughed the entire session!

This session was personally important to me because I feel as if my passion for photography has come full circle. My freshman year of college was the first time I photographed 3 year old baby Brittany for my Intro to Film Photography course, and now I am taking her senior pics! I never could have imagined she would grow into such a beautiful young woman… now you see why I feel so old!
