A really great thing about this job is that I get the opportunity to reconnect with friends from my past. It’s funny how you don’t think you’re very old, yet it is so strange when you run into an old friend who is “all grown up” with kids of their own. I don’t know why I think that’s so strange, since I have three children myself?!

During my last photo session, I was very excited to see an high school friend and meet her amazing family. Her spirited two year old son was as cute as could be, however he definitely had the mind of a two year old… We had fun playing with toys and I was able to snap the occasional photograph when he didn’t know. I think that’s usually the only time you can catch a two year old for a photo, when they’re not expecting it:)

His new little sister was very cooperative, and she’s just precious! My favorite moments were when we took photos of Baby A and her mom. They were just beautiful together! Having a daughter of my own, it really brought tears to my eyes to see the special bond they already had, there’s nothing that compares to a mother-daughter bond… even when they’re 13 and hate us!:) Here are a few images from this fun session…
