SO if I were to tell you this session was already rained out once, then rescheduled, and then during the session the skies opened up literally the 3rd time I pressed the shutter button, you would think the session was over, right?! Well…… I know a little bit about how difficult it is to get 3 children and a husband dressed and out the door for ANYTHING, so NO, I was not giving up that easily for the sake of the sanity of this mother 😉

The great part about the location I picked is that there was a little overhang that we were able to run under as to not ruin our hair. And since we were just waiting around for the rain to end, I decided I could still snap some photos and they quickly became a few of my favorites from the session. As a family photographer, you have to be able to improvise… there’s always something that does not go the way it was planned when you’re dealing with kids!

Luckily, the rain did stop and I was able to have a blast hanging out with such a cool fun family. Take a peak at their session 🙂
