One of the biggest questions photographers often ask is, ‘How do you get families to act natural and get real laughter from them?’… As photographers we can make funny noises, tell jokes and jump around like a crazy person, but the best way to get a true laugh from an entire family?! Have some one in the family pass gas so loud you can hear it from across the street 🙂 I think we were all dying laughing when Preston, a typical 12 year old boy decided to let one rip right as I had everyone set up for the family shot. If I could only get every  family to have that happen, my job would be a piece of cake! It might not be the most ladylike thing to discuss, but as a family photographer and mother of 3… sometimes you gotta just go with it and say… ‘Hey, whatever works!’ Thanks Preston for giving me a great image!
